- Usage information, including how and when you interact with or navigate the Services.

We may collect personal data from the following sources:
- Directly from you, for example when you create an account, visit or use the Services, communicate with us or otherwise provide us with your personal data.
- Automatically through the Services, including from your device when you use our products or services or visit our websites, and through cookies and similar technologies.
- From our service providers, when we engage them to enable certain technologies and when they collect or process your personal data on our behalf.
- From our partners or other third parties.
How we use your personal data, and our lawful bases
Depending on how you interact with us or which Services you use, we may use your personal data for the following purposes:
- Providing, tailoring and improving the Services. We use your personal data to provide the Services to you. This includes performing our contract with you, processing your payments, fulfilling your orders, remembering your preferences and the items you’re interested in, sending you account-related notifications, and processing purchases, returns, exchanges or other transactions. It also includes creating, maintaining and managing your account, arranging delivery, facilitating returns and exchanges, enabling you to post reviews, and creating a tailored shopping experience, such as recommending products related to your purchases. Lawful basis: performance of a contract and our legitimate interests in running and improving our business.
- Marketing and advertising. We use your personal data for marketing and advertising, such as sending marketing and promotional messages by email, text message or post. We also use it to show you online advertisements for products or services on the Services or other websites, including based on items you’ve previously bought or added to your basket and other activity on the Services. Lawful basis: your consent, or for existing customers our legitimate interests, where the law allows us to send you marketing about similar products. You can opt out at any time.
- Security and fraud prevention. We use your personal data to authenticate your account, provide a secure payment and shopping experience, and detect, investigate or act on possible fraudulent, unlawful, unsafe or malicious activity. We also use it to protect public safety and secure our services. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your account details secure. We strongly recommend that you do not share your username, password or other access details with anyone else. Lawful basis: our legitimate interests and compliance with legal obligations.
- Communicating with you. We use your personal data to provide customer support, respond to you, deliver effective services to you and maintain our business relationship with you. Lawful basis: performance of a contract and our legitimate interests.
- Legal reasons. We use your personal data to comply with applicable law and respond to valid legal requests, including requests from law enforcement or government authorities. We also use it to investigate or take part in civil proceedings, potential or actual disputes or other legal processes, and to enforce or investigate potential breaches of our terms or policies. Lawful basis: compliance with legal obligations and our legitimate interests.
How we share personal data
In certain circumstances, we may share your personal data with third parties for legitimate purposes in line with this Privacy Policy. These may include:
- With Shopify, suppliers and other third parties who provide services on our behalf, such as IT management, payment processing, data analytics, customer support, cloud storage, order fulfilment and delivery.
- With business and marketing partners to provide marketing services and advertise to you. For example, we use Shopify to support personalised advertising with third-party services based on your online activity across different retailers and websites. Our business and marketing partners will use your information in line with their own privacy notices. You have the right to object to us sharing your information for targeted advertising and marketing.
- When you ask or consent to us sharing certain information with third parties, for example to send you products, or through your use of social media widgets or login integrations.
- With our affiliates or otherwise within our corporate group.
- In connection with a business transaction such as a merger or insolvency, to comply with legal obligations (including responding to court orders, warrants and similar requests), to enforce our terms or policies, and to protect or defend the Services, our rights and the rights of our users or others.
Our relationship with Shopify
The Services are hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes personal data about your access to and use of the Services in order to provide and improve the Services for you. Information you submit through the Services will be transferred to and shared with Shopify and with third parties that may be located in countries other than the one where you live, in order to provide and improve the Services for you.
To help protect, grow and improve our business, we also use certain enhanced Shopify features. These features use data and information obtained from your interactions with our shop, together with other merchants and with Shopify. To provide them, Shopify may use personal data collected about your interactions with our shop, other merchants and Shopify. In these cases, Shopify is responsible for processing your personal data, including responding to requests to exercise your rights over the use of your personal data for these purposes.
To learn more about how Shopify uses your personal data and any rights you may have, see the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy. You can also exercise certain rights over your personal data through the Shopify Privacy Portal.
Third-party websites and links
The Services may contain links to websites or other online platforms operated by third parties. If you follow links to sites that are not affiliated with or controlled by us, you should review their privacy and security policies and other terms and conditions. We do not guarantee, and are not responsible for, the privacy or security of those sites. This includes the accuracy, completeness or reliability of the information they contain.
Information you share on public or semi-public platforms may be visible to other users of the Services and/or of those platforms, with no limit on how we or third parties may use it. This includes information you share on third-party social networks. Including such links does not in itself mean that we endorse the content on those platforms or their owners or operators, unless we say so on the Services.
Children’s data
The Services are not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal data about children under 13, or under the age of majority where you live, whichever is higher. If you are the parent or guardian of a child who has provided us with their personal data, you can contact us using the details below to ask for it to be deleted. As of the effective date of this Privacy Policy, we have no actual knowledge that we “share” or “sell” (as those terms are defined in applicable law) personal data of individuals under 16.
Security and retention
No security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee “perfect security”. Information you send us may not be secure while in transit. We recommend that you do not use unsecured channels to send us sensitive or confidential information.
How long we keep your personal data depends on several factors. These include whether we need it to maintain your account, provide the Services to you, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes or enforce other applicable agreements and policies. We do not keep personal data for longer than necessary for the purposes set out in this policy. For example, we keep order and transaction records for [X] years to meet our accounting and tax obligations.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the following rights over your personal data. Some of these rights apply only in certain circumstances, and in some cases we may refuse a request where the law allows.
- Right of access. You can ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to erasure. You can ask us to delete the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification. You can ask us to correct inaccurate personal data we hold about you.
- Right to data portability. You can ask to receive a copy of the personal data we hold about you and ask us to transfer it to a third party, in certain circumstances and subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to object and to restrict processing. You can ask us to stop or restrict processing your personal data for certain purposes. You can always object to the use of your personal data for direct marketing.
- Right to withdraw consent. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before you withdrew it.
- Managing your communication preferences. We may send you promotional emails, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails. If you unsubscribe, we may still send you non-promotional emails, for example about your account or orders.
You can exercise these rights where indicated on the Services, or by contacting us using the details below. To learn more about how Shopify uses your personal data and what rights you may have, including over data processed by Shopify, see the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy.
We will not treat you less favourably for exercising any of these rights. We may need to verify your identity before we can process your request. You may appoint an authorised representative to make requests on your behalf. Before we accept a request from a representative, we will ask them for proof that you have authorised them to act for you, and we may need you to confirm your identity directly with us. We will respond to your request within one month, as required by law.
Complaints
If you have a complaint about how we process your personal data, please contact us first. If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator. You can contact the ICO through its website or by calling 0303 123 1113.
International transfers
We may transfer, store and process your personal data outside the country where you live, including in the European Economic Area.
If we transfer your personal data outside the UK, we will make sure it is protected. We will do this by relying on UK adequacy regulations, or by using recognised safeguards such as the ICO’s International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons. We will publish the revised Privacy Policy on this website, update the “Last updated” date and notify you where required by law.
